Meet Norbert Schu,

Norbert Schu is a gastro-legend, great connoisseur of wine and the owner of Schu’s Deli & Wine. For over 10 years this family run business focuses mainly on top quality, well-aged wines and the finest delicatessen in the world. The company holds a massive wine collection with the best wines in the world, aged to perfection.

Intention

The intention was to kick off their wine-business-journey in a way that the right basis was set. We wanted to have processes in place that are digital, easy to handle, transparent and effective. And as little time possible should go into administrative work, to be able to focus fully on online marketing and selling the actual wines without having to attract additional personnel.

 

The different steps

1 - Workflow Optimisation

Before we could work on a strategy we needed to tidy up their data, implement the right tools and introduce new workflows. In doing so we've built a well-oiled-machine that could facilitate their sales and improve their client management. I've introduced them to Lexoffice for their finance, Hubspot as their new CRM, Google Suite as their new workplace and Clickup for their overall project management.

2 - Growth strategy

To make sure they could grow their business we had to define the target group, how to reach them and what to offer them. For that, we had to look a bit closer at their audience, their strengths and weakness and define where their opportunity lay.

3 - Digital transformation

After defining the growth strategy it was time to choose the perfect mix of online and offline channels to reach their target group. I've set up a new framework for the website based on Squarespace and consulted them on their social media plan.
